Lone Star Love Notes Turns One!

Lone Star Love Notes Turns One!

It's been one year since we started making notecards and art prints available to those folks who enjoy the abundant wildlife in the Texas Hill Country region of Texas. While online sales are modest, our store front sales in Fredericksburg have enjoyed a robust popularity among locals and tourists.

Did you know more that 2 million tourist visit this small, historic German town known for its beautiful historic buildings, German-crafted cottages, 70 vineyards, dozens of tasting rooms, fine restaurants, delightful B&Bs, an abundance of natural areas, and the iconic Enchanted Rock State Park.

We have sold through two large print runs selling our unique watercolor prints by Texas artist Susan Edison Muncaster at a beautiful small gift shop called The Grasshopper & Wild Honey.  This store is located at 113 E. Main Street and features gorgeous collectibles items including a rich collection of custom Christmas ornaments. Owned by Mary Anne Turbeville, this shop is known for first-class service and first-class gifts. Turbeville was recognized by the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce as the town's outstanding business owner in 2025! See us featured on The Grasshopper Facebook page!

We also fulfilled our mission of making a $500 donation to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation based on proceeds from sales of our cards and prints!
